Jared was born in 1986 in Layton, Utah. He discovered his passion for music at a young age while attending a production of Phantom of the Opera with his family. Gripped with emotion at the swelling music of the orchestra, Jared learned the power of music to alter one’s perception. Throughout his childhood and adolescence, he taught himself how to play the piano and guitar. An avid singer, Jared began writing original music when he was in high school. Jared graduated in 2011 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication and a minor in Music. Jared’s time at OSU was largely spent learning the art of MIDI Jared currently resides in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Hillary. Peter Hollens is an American pop singer and producer best known for his work on YouTube as an a cappella artist. Hollens is a one man a cappella group – he sings ALL parts of every song and then layers and blends them together. With over 850,000 subscribers his videos have reached over 100 million views. Hollens has collaborated with some of YouTube’s biggest artists, including Lindsey Stirling, George Watsky and Tyler Ward as well as Jason Mraz and Hunter Hayes.
